WOODBURY: Cannon County Schools will be CLOSED on Tue., Jan. 18, 2022, due to snowfall and treacherous driving conditions. CCHS basketball games rescheduled for a later date.
Director of Cannon County Schools, William Freddy Curtis, said, “Cannon County Schools will be CLOSED on Tue., Jan. 18, 2022, due to treacherous driving conditions throughout Cannon County. Several inches of snow have fallen in all of Cannon County and temperatures are forecast to be a low of 20 degrees tomorrow morning. The safety of our students and personnel is always our utmost priority. This will be our seventh inclement weather day utilized in the 2021-2022 school year. On a related note, the scheduled Cannon County High School basketball games at Whitwell, TN, for tonight, Mon., Jan. 17, 2022, will be rescheduled for a future date.”
