  • Cannon COVID-19 Surge

Cannon County citizens are facing an unprecedented surge of COVID-19. This virus is real. Many of us have tested positive, including my immediate family. The Tennessee Supreme Court has made masks mandatory in the courthouses of all 95 counties.

  • Mandatory Mask Requirement

In compliance with the Tennessee Supreme Court order (see attached photo of the order) the Cannon County Courthouse will require anyone entering inside the courthouse to wear a facial mask. There will be signs posted on the entrance doors explaining the requirement and a copy of the court order.

  • Dollars, Debt and the Finance Department

Daily, the Finance Department pays bills. Those bills are in support of the operations of County General, Board of Education, and the Highway Department. All bill payments are made through the Finance Department following the consolidation that went into effect August 1, 2020.
