Government

Cannon County, Tennessee, government is composed of the County Executive, and the County Commissioners. The County Executive is elected by general election every four years by the voting residents of Cannon County, Tennessee. The County Commission is made up of 10 commissioners, two from each of the five voting districts in Cannon County. The Commissioners are elected by general election every four years by the voting residents of Cannon County. Other elected officials include: the Clerk, the Trustee, the Property Appraiser, ans the Register of Deeds.
